Wakizashi Kobuse Bo-hi

The blade is hand forged in the elaborate Kobuse style. Here, a sturdy 1095 carbon steel shell surrounds a softer, low carbon 1050 steel core.
Like its historic predecessors, this Wakizashi combines grace and utility in a unique way.
The hardening is differentiated at about 60 ° Rockwell at the cutting edge and at about 40 ° Rockwell at the back of the blade. This difference in hardness is visible on a real Hamon finely sculpted line.

- Shinogi-Zukuri style blade with Kobuse blade.
- Winding of black silk Katate Maki (war braiding) with real ray skin.
- Shiny black lacquered saya (Kuroro style) with tips (Kojiri, Kurigata, Koiguchi) in buffalo horn.

- All ornaments (Tsuba, Fuchi, Menuki, Kashira) are handcrafted in metal and give each sword its personal touch.
- Comes in a pretty wooden collector's box, including a glossy velvet painted stand.
