Kozuka (small knife) is placed in the Saya.
Its original purpose is something like an everyday letter opener, and it has no role as a weapon. Moreover, as it developed into elaborate metalwork using gold and silver, the decorative character of Kozuka became even stronger, and many masters of this type of metalwork were products.
