High-end sharp katana "Saruta-hiko" (ôkami, protector of aikido),
blade maru 1095, with selective clay quenching: real hamon (quenching line).

Special intensive practice, excellent behavior for cutting.

Saruta-hiko is a Shinto deity. He is the ruler of the earthly kamis and the guardian of the sky bridge. Symbol of both physical and moral strength, it is the patron of certain martial arts such as Aikido.

Saya, ito and sageo brown. Mune hikushi.

Delivered in a wooden box containing a black lacquered support, a silk cover, and a maintenance kit.
