Miyamoto Musashi, a master swordsman, renowned calligrapher, and painter, is one of Japan’s most iconic figures. Known as one of the strongest samurais in Japanese history, his legacy lives on in this exceptional katana.
This razor-sharp Japanese sword features a hand-forged blade with a distinct groove, inspired by the precision and artistry of the samurai. Although not artisanal, the high-quality 1045 carbon steel provides durability and strength.
Key Features of the Katana Miyamoto Musashi:
Hand-forged 1045 carbon steel blade with a visible hamon (temper line)
Blade length: 72.5 cm
Kassane (blade thickness): 7 / 4.5 mm
Tsuka (handle) covered in white ray skin with black silk Ito for a firm, traditional grip
Steel tsuba (67 x 74 mm) for added protection and balance
Saya (scabbard) in lacquered black wood with a matching black sageo (cord)
