Katana Gunto (新軍刀), replica of a WWII Japanese officer's saber.
Officer classes are symbolized by colorful pom poms tied to a loop at the end of the handle.

Katana with hand forged sharp blade.
NO-HI blade (Without groove), 1045 steel (0.45% carbon).
Shinogi zukuri style blade.
"Hinerimaki" style braided wooden tsuka with brown cotton ito, authentic stingray skin insert.
Tsuka mounted in the traditional way with two bamboo Mekugis
Saya matt brown lacquered with a Saya locking button
Comes with two ito cord on Kashira rings. One brown and one blue corresponding to the rank of captain.
Habaki in brass.
Manufactured according to a historical model.
Delivered in a cotton cover and in a wooden box covered with artificial silk.
